Join us for a one-time experience created by footnotes and Tiana Kader with the support of Shelter Art Space.
A day where walking turns into creating
We’ll begin with footnotes’ artistic heritage tour Ink, Film, and Stone, exploring Alexandria through its poetry, cinema, architecture, and the people who shaped the city’s cultural identity.
So bring your curiosity, your camera, and your attention to detail.
Then, we’ll head to Shelter Art Space, where French artist Tiana Kader will guide us through the process zine-making from scratch. Using the pictures, notes, and impressions collected during the walk, you’ll transform your experience into something tangible: a small handmade souvenir that reflects your own connection with Alexandria.
No artistic background needed. Just come ready to see, create, and share the experience with a wonderful group of people.
Throughout the day, Mabrooka will provide homemade food and coffee to keep the conversations and creativity flowing.
